What I particularly liked about this cookbook is how it speaks to us, the Indians. Awesome interview…and a wonderful book indeed…one of my students presented me this on my birthday…fabulous gift indeed…and pedatha now supervises my andhra experiments in the kitchen!
Published on July 4, This pedathw feels like I am in the kitchen with an Indian grandmother, learning how to use asafoetida as a spice, building up the flavors in a sambar, understanding the cooking at home with pedatha of using fenugreek leaves, and making unique yet familiar chutneys with ease. We are still far behind in distribution though.

They both are really good books to have and to cook from. Traditional recipes with interesting variations, Guidelines for tempering or tadka, Vegetarian meal plans, Photo glossary of spices, lentils and vegetables, Exquisite food photography, and Special tips by Pedatha throughout the book.

And what surprises me more is it costs just Rs. This book was an eye opener which showed me that there is more to Andhra vegetarian food then pappu ,avakai and gongura chutney. Customers who bought this item also bought. Made a few dishes cooking at home with pedatha far and epdatha turned out delicious.
I am not a good cook. One person found this helpful. Amazon Restaurants Food delivery from local restaurants. The recipes are clear and the results are consistently amazing.
But I think I should wait. Thanks for the link. You might have gone ag a great deal of work to get the book in to the market.

In fact, the standing joke in the cooking at home with pedatha is that she would happily cook an entire meal for an army, but for dessert, pack the children off to the nearby sweet shop. Usually I shy away from such things, but because I liked this book verymuch I dared.
